Pennie Sempell has a rich background over 30 years in law, conflict resolution and integrative health. She is the program director and co-author of the StressPal Frontline program. Over two decades as an integrative healthcare practitioner, Pennie collaborated with physicians to pioneer innovative protocol for patient self-care. An author and producer, her multimedia publications include curriculum on social, emotional and wellbeing topics. She has participated on the advisory boards of the Center for Telehealth and eHealth Law, the Institute for Health and Healing, and as a mediator with Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services. About James
Dr. Monroe brings 30 years experience in clinical psychology, providing clinical supervision and outpatient treatment with specialties in stress-related and anxiety disorders, medical psychology, relationship discord, pain management and evidence-based therapies, with deep subject matter expertise in mindfulness-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Dr. Monroe served on the Institutional Review Board of Oregon Research Institute, and has trained doctoral candidates and PhD residents in clinical psychology interventions. He directed the R&D in assuring that StressPal’s measures and interventions have been informed by extensive literature reviews of evidence-based, peer reviewed, controlled research. He earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from West Virginal University and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from George Washington University. You might catch Jim composing, recording or performing a new song, unless he is out fly fishing.
About Anton
Anton Arbatov is a digital health expert and innovator, who served in numerous leadership roles with health and government organizations to create and implement innovative and sustainable care delivery models leveraging cutting edge processes and technology. Following a career in the U.S. Army where he specialized in emergency medical operations and where among other assignments he led operations for the emergency department at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Arbatov spent the past decade in telemedicine and digital health. He was part of the ELT that took the largest acute care telemedicine company public in 2020.
About Karen
Karen is an accomplished leader in the fields of healthcare informatics, digital health and healthcare policy with over 30 years of experience working with major healthcare systems to integrate and use advanced clinical computing across the United States as well as in the U.K and Singapore. Karen was most recently the Chief Clinical Officer at emids, an information technology company. Her early career was focused on critical care and was part of a team that opened the Zale Lipshy University Hospital in Dallas as Director of the ICU. She is a Registered Nurse and board certified in Nursing Informatics.

Jay earned his MBA from University of Massachusetts, and his Bachelor of Sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology.
