StressPal Research at APHA 2025

‘”If I don’t care for myself, my cup will be empty”: Exploring health professionals’ perception of benefits of attending online training for self-care and resilience.’ was presented at APHA 2025 by Shaan Muberry Khan, MPH, MS, a PhD student with the Department of Health Administration & Policy at George Mason University. Congratulations, Shaan, for your First Place award!
The presentation explored findings about self-care and stress resilience in nurses, advanced practice providers, physicians, social workers and health administrators who participated the StressPal Frontline: Essential Resilience Self-Care and Burnout Prevention, program in a research led by George Mason University in partnership with StressPal.
This was an internal conference, arranged by the College of Public Health in Spring. This time more than 60 student-led posters were presented. The posters were judged by blinded faculty and guests and scored. The three-hour event ends with a mini-award giving ceremony for recognizing the top three posters from each group (undergrad/Master/PhD) and celebrating students’ achievements
